Prince Said ‘The Internet is Dead’

Technology News – Senior singer Prince claimed if the Internet era has passed, even the internet is considered already dead, and he refused to distribute his music through any Internet platform.

52-year-old man had just released an album entitled 20Ten. He said he would not ask for the help the Internet to market his albums and would prefer to use CD format only, if only to be distributed.

“The Internet is dead. Yanng I do not see the advantage gained when I give my music through iTunes or whatever new name. They do not want to pay my hard work or any compensation. Then they became angry when it does not get what they want,” Prince said, as quoted by the Telegraph, Wednesday (07/07/2010).

Then he continued, “The Internet is like MTV is booming in some time, then all will be obsolete.”

Besides the Internet, Prince has also criticized the proliferation of sophisticated devices scattered on the world market. According to existing gadgets are not good for life.

“All the computers and gadgets that are now not good for us. The devices will only satisfy your mind with numbers, it is very bad,” said Prince.

Prince has declared war on the internet since the year 2007. The first step done by closing the opposition’s official website after he was involved in his feud with eBay, YouTube, and Pirate Bay. Prince thinks all internet services that have misused his music.

Since then he has refused to cooperate with any music service providers, including a paid music services like iTunes, 7Digital and eMusic. Even his new album this time will not be available for download.
