Apple “took” AMD for processor

Technology News- Apple reportedly is doing exploratory cooperation with the processor manufacturer AMD. Most likely, Apple will use AMD products for desktop products, and its notebooks.

Apple Insider, Monday (4/19/2010) reported that, according to sources at Apple, the plan is likely to occur. Apple does want the support to produce the best graphics system. Apple thinks that AMD is able to present it, considering AMD also has a product to support ATI graphics display.

“These talks will likely take a long time,” said the source.

AMD processors are still a lot to fix they made especially on the side of battery life. Apple is considering battery life on its products, especially on notebooks. If the rumor is true, then it could be imagined, the price of Apple products will decline in the market.

Meanwhile, Apple recently also updated MacBook Pro line with a faster processor with support for NVIDIA graphics which claimed more powerful and even long battery life.

All models 13-inch MacBook Pro is now using the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM, 10-hour battery, built-ins and NVIDIA GeForce graphics processors are the new 320M. With 48 core-core processing, NVIDIA GeForce 320M is a new integrated graphics processor on the market, ideal for graphics-intensive applications or games with high performance.
