OS On the PC is still Dominated by Windows XP SP3

Software News – Operating system Windows XP service pack (SP3) is still used approximately 37 percent of PCs. This was revealed from a PC Advisor poll conducted in July 2010 until now.

The next sequence is Windows 7 which is used approximately 29.7 percent of PCs. Thus was launched the PC Advisor, Thursday (07/08/2010).

The poll asked readers, about ‘what operating system you use? ” The number of users of Windows 7 decreased compared to last year, because last year, the number of users reaching 30.6 percent.

Microsoft OS other almost ‘dead’ XP SP2 is still in use approximately 5.6 percent. As we all know Microsoft will ‘turn off’ the entire support for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) on July 13, 2010.

According to Adrian Stone, Senior Lead Security Program Manager and Jerry Bryant, Group Manager, Microsoft Response Communications, users should immediately upgrade the operating system to Windows 7 operating system or Service Pack 3.

Microsoft is predicted to cease all support for all major OS either XP SP2 or SP3 after April 2014. Given at the end of 2012, suppliers of other applications will not support XP.
