Opera has downloaded 2.6 Million Times by IPhone Users

Software News – Opera claims that the browser has been downloaded 2.6 million times by iPhone users. Distribution of opera to the Opera platform has been started since 13 April 2010.

Opera on the iPhone’s presence, it has boosted the growth of Opera Mini users approximately 70 percent. “Opera has become a very important part of the user’s iPhone, at least they try,” said Jon von Tetzchner Opera founder as reported by Reuters on Friday (05/28/2010)

“But, we also see the use of Opera is a very good and increases among iPhone users,” said Tetzchner.

Opera has indeed been promising a very high speed for iPhone users in surfing in cyberspace. Norwegian browser that is claimed to six times faster than Apple’s browser. The high Internet traffic using Opera is often a separate issue for network operators.

Overall, the mobile internet users who use Opera increased 6.6 percent since late April. “In total, the end of April the number of users reached 58.9 million,” said Tetzchner.

Opera’s browser market share with a total market share of 26.7 percent. Meanwhile, Nokia’s browser control 14.6 percent.
