Software News – Windows 7 truly a blessing for Microsoft. After some time ago released, a new operating system is able to increase Microsoft’s profits up 35 percent. However, their shares fell more than 3 percent, as investors expect profits of more than recovery of the technology sector.

Increased sales, which were not accompanied with the increase in Microsoft shares, according to some observers indicate that the recovery has not been running smoothly for the largest software companies in the world.

“Maybe the expectations of those expectations a little lower than Microsoft’s numbers,” says toan Tran, analyst at Morningstar, as quoted by the Guardian, Friday (4/23/2010).

According to Gartner, IT sales will be increased to up 12 percent in 2010. The company predicts will be big increases for Microsoft, which provides the operating system for more than 90% of the computers in the world.

“Microsoft will benefit more from the recovery of the IT sector, because businesses typically purchase PCs bring more profits for Microsoft, because they get products more professional version of the product,” added Tran

Microsoft reported net income of USD4.01 billion for the third fiscal quarter ended March 31, an increase of USD2.98 billion, compared to a year ago.
