Campaign of IE8 by Microsoft
December 1, 2009Campaign to encourage the user’s browser Internet Explorer (IE) 6 has been initiated by Microsoft, the campaign was intended users of Internet Explorer (IE6) to immediately switch to IE8. Because, after the release of IE 8 in March, Micosoft has been informed to the user that IE 6 is outdated.
Actually, many people want to switch to a new browser, but most of them thought better to perform immigration due to constrained problems that make them difficult to upgrade to IE 8. Even less of them did not hit the office policy that prohibits indiscriminate downloading.
Microsoft’s own target of this campaign will run until June 2010 that Microsoft’s own IE 8 as a better alternative. as launched by Cnet, Tuesday (1/12/2009).
“What we do is to help users understand how to protect yourself against social engineering threats that exist and to help people understand how Internet Explorer 8 puts the people in control of their own privacy online,” said Ryan Servatius, senior product manager for Internet Explorer .
“Security is one major problem with IE 6, and Microsoft now offer security features in IE 8 is able to block malware sites 2 million a day,” he said.
