James Gosling has been leave Oracle
April 11, 2010James Gosling as the father of the Java programming language, has decided to leave Oracle. certainty regarding the resignation Gosling has been expressed through his personal blog.
Gosling, reveals itself officially withdraw from Oracle since April 2, 2010. Thus launched, PC World, Sunday (11/11/2010).
“The reason why I moved, very difficult to answer,” said Gosling, who did not specify in detail the reasons for his departure from Oracle.
Men born in Canada, May 19, 1955 was the last time, has served as Chief Technology Officer of Oracle’s Software Group. Gosling previously held the same position for Sun Microsystems.
In 1991 he worked in developing the Oak project, which is the forerunner to the Java programming language.
Gosling steps to leave the Oracle was followed in the footsteps of other Sun executives, the CEO of Sun, Jonathan Schwartz and Tim Bray. The move was presumably due to the disappointment of the Sun’s top brass after Oracle purchased in January 2010 ago.
