ADHOC
In the Ad-Hoc mode, to make interaction with other computers, all connected computer that will need to have a wireless adapter for the laptop or have a Wi-Fi facilities. One of the computers in this mode as SSID Broadcaster.
Here are step by step installation and configuration on one computer that you want to be a broadcaster SSID:
1. Enable the Wireless adapter – each computer that will be associated with the network
2. Right click on Wireless Network Connection icon on the taskbar and select View Available Wireless
Networks, it will appear.
3. Click Change the order preferred Network
4. Click Add in the Preferred Network, Network and then type the name that will be used in the NetworkName. . example SSID name is Ad Hoc.
5. Click Ok
6. Click refresh Network list then will appear ad-Hoc connection with the SSID name of the Ad Hoc.
7. Then choose the option Change advanced settings on the left. Click 2 times on the option protocol internet (TCP / IP).
8. Then the settings on each computer with the IP address that is different from the rules 192.168.1.xxx xxx is in accordance with the number expected in the range 1s / d 254. eg (192.168.1.65).
9. specify the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 to form a local network. empty gateaway.
10. click ok for verification.
11. Test connection with the PING command at the command prompt, when connected to the computer the computer is ready to communicate in Ad-Hoc network pear to pear.
