Symbian Prepare for Cheap Smartphone
Smart phones will continue to boom, not just rely on features but began playing at the price. Prediction, smart phones are starting with a low interest rate.
According to Symbian developers themselves, certainly this year there will be some symbian phones will be sold at a price of 100 euros, or approximately USD137 telecommunications operators without subsidy.

To make it as cheap phone, component manufacturers are expected to Qualcomm and Infineon will work with Symbian to create a component that is also more affordable by phone vendors so they can minimize production costs.
“The emergence of cheap mobile phones is also a demand from telecom operators. Because with cheap mobile phones, they can reduce the cost of subsidies that have occurred and can improve the data services that will be used in smart phones,” said Lee.
According to Lee, Symbian OS is appropriate for use in entry-level smartphone. In addition to its proximity to Motorola, its presence was encouraging in emerging markets like China.
