Microsoft will market the Winmo7 phone in 2011
February 20, 2010Software giant, Microsoft has long been rumored to be launching their own mobile phone. Of course, the phone will be equipped with its flagship operating system, Windows Mobile7.
However, as reported by Softpedia, Friday (19/2/2010) phone is not completely dominated by Microsoft. Asus computer vendors are also required to produce the mobile phone.
The phone will use touch-screen technology and is scheduled to come out this year but was postponed a year until 2011.
But until now, they both HP and Microsoft were mum about the emergence of the mobile phone.
This phone is designed to compete with Apple iPhone and Google Android. Microsoft saw the great potential of the mobile phone market is growing so fast.
