Yahoo Decide Xoopit relationship with Gmail

After successfully purchased by Yahoo, Xoopit users now have to leave Gmail access. This is a new policy that has determined by yahoo. So far the aggregators media files can be used Xoopit past the Gmail account only. But after Yahoo bought it in last July, was forced integration should be removed. Instead, Xoopit can only be used by the owner of Yahoo Mail account.

Xoopit user has a time limit until 13 November to save all their files on Google servers and moved it to Yahoo. After that, Yahoo is still giving a deadline until February to users Xoopit, along with rules to maintain data for 90 days since the move.

Quoted by Cnet, Saturday “3/10/2009″, Yahoo revealed that this step was done to enable them to focus more on making better Xoopit collaborate with Yahoo Mail. Xoopit itself is predicted to start is compatible with Yahoo Mail this December.

Besides deciding Xoopit integration with Gmail, Yahoo also stop Xoopit compatibility with Firefox Add-on and integration with Facebook in Gmail.
