Twitter Access in China has been closed

China’s efforts to limit freedom of surf endless stream. After closing a number of sites that are considered to spread violence, and pornography, now turn microblogging, Twitter is a victim.

Twitter founder Evan Williams earlier revealed that his microblogging service could not be accessed by some users in China. Thus was launched AFP Saturday (30/1/2010).

“I’ve got a report that blockade, and that’s what I have said that there was some blocking, but we have not received confirmation,” said Williams.

He said, China was able to use a firewall to block microblogging services used millions of people around the world. “but remember there are many ways for users to access them, but I am not an expert problem,” Williams said.

However, Williams said, until now there has been no report in the attacks of hackers from China as experienced Google.

“So far we are very comfortable to stay in China,” said Williams.
