Spotify began entering Symbian Music Applications

Manufacturer of streaming software like the Spotify successfully penetrated into Symbian to enliven the music application on Nokia phones, which now control half of the global handset market.

Unfortunately, This music streaming application can only be used for premium services members of Symbian. Premium users can download this application into their Symbian smartphones, as quoted on AFP, Tuesday (11/24/2009).

Symbian platform is now used in more than 50 percent of the number of phones that spread in the world. Not only the Nokia brand, but also some Sony Ericsson and Samsung.

“The launch Symbian Spotify is open potential mobile music service which can be accessed on the millions of music fans, particularly throughout Europe,” said Director of Portable Solution Symbian Gustav Soederstroem.

Spotify Own currently is the largest music streaming site in the world, after the first launched in 2008. Along with the prestige that began soaring, streaming site like this Spotify begin to think hard to take advantage of paid services.

Previously, the available sites in Sweden, Norway, Finland, England, France and Spain also launched the same application on Apple’s iPhone and Google Android in last September.
