Online book programs in california School

juny months ago, the Governor of California Arnold Shwarzenegger will delete the use of school textbooks and gradually replace them with lessons learned from online sources. “By using the book online will help save hundreds of millions of dollars in California education. Download textbooks online can alleviate so that students do not need to carry a heavy school books,” Schwarzenegger said as quoted from the SF Gate, Wednesday (12/8/2009) .

Now, the school children in California do not need to carry a bag full of books that are very thick. Digital books will also be more cost saving because they do not need to buy expensive books every increase of the classroom, but simply download the necessary lesson materials online.

Thus, California became the first in the U.S. in introducing initiatives to switch to digital books.

Schwarzenegger said, California will be in the forefront of technology and innovation. This is one of the initiatives indicated by the state with the switch using the online learning materials from the conventional book.
