Millions of people access Facebook via Xbox Live

Millions of Xbox Live members have taken advantage of the integration features of the social networking new invested by Micorosoft some time ago. In June ago, Microsoft began offering access to Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm for users of Xbox Live. This step apparently greeted with enthusiasm by users of Xbox Live.

“In the first week, there are at least two million Xbox Live users who do log in to Facebook. In addition, within a period of 24 hours since this feature was launched, noted there is Last.fm half a million accounts created via Xbox Live,” said Microsoft spokesman David Dennis, as quoted from CNet, Tuesday (11/24/2009).

Dennis did not mention the amount of Xbox Live users who have been using Twitter features. He just said there was a lot of tweet is updated in almost every place that has the Xbox Live service.

Based on Denis information, seems that integration of Facebook with Xbox Live is a feature of the most widely used. Two million people who log in to Facebook is still far from the total number of Xbox Live users as much as 20 million people. But it can be concluded, there is one-tenth from users of this service who have been using Facebook feature in the first week of this feature was launched.

Last.fm ranked tha second after Facebook. in the first week, Xbox Live users spent 120 million minutes for menstreaming songs.
