Google Plans to Stop Operating in China

The Government of China revealed that Google’s plan to withdraw from China after burglarized a number of hackers will not affect China’s trade relations with the United States.

It was revealed, the ministry of Commerce of China, such as quoted by digital AsiaOnet, Saturday (16/1/2010).

“No problem, any decision taken Google, it would not affect the trade and economic relations between China and the U.S.,” said a spokesman for China’s trade minister, Yao Jian.

Google is planning to stop operating in China, although China is considered as a potential market. At least the number of Internet users reached 380 million users.

“Both countries have a number of communication links, and we feel comfortable with the development of economic relations and trade between the two countries,” said Yao.

Yao stressed, every foreign company operating in China must comply with all rules, cultures and traditions prevailing in the country’s bamboo curtain.

“China is currently transforming from a traditional economy to a socialist market. Stability and development is our main priority right now,” said Yao.

The search engine giant was not received by suspected hack action launched by China. Google announced steps this leads to an increasingly mounting tension between China and the U.S. related to freedom of surf.
