George Bush ‘Appear’ on Facebook

Internet News – Facebook has a new member from among the important people, namely former U.S. president George W. Bush. He joined the largest social networking is on Wednesday this week.

Soon after activating the account is located at facebook.com/georgewbush, Bush has attracted more than 28,000 fans in a few hours.

The first post on Facebook pages was Bush’s praise for a number of accomplishments since leaving office in January 2009.

“President Bush remains active,” he wrote. “He has visited 20 states and eight countries, delivering more than 65 speeches, launched the Center for information on George W. Bush, participated in the four policy conferences, and partner with the (former) President (Bill) Clinton to establish the Bush Clinton Fund of Haiti,” referred to another post.

The next post was praised memoir written by former First Lady Laura Bush, “Spoken from the Heart,” which occupies the first position in the list of the New York Times bestseller for three consecutive weeks. Laura Bush himself has a Facebook and more than 16 500 fans.

“Facebook is an ideal forum to keep people informed about what is being done by former President Bush,” said Bush spokesman David Sherzer, told AFP, was quoted Thursday (3/6/2010).

“Our office heard a U.S. citizen all the time,” he added.

Bush’s message on the Facebook page is very positive although some criticized the former number one in the White House.

“You have a president who is very competent,” said Brent Bender.

“Thanks to destroy the economy of George!” written account Brodsky wrote.
