Controversial Problem of Google’s Street

Including countries like Switzerland too will be joining in the lawsuit concerning the controversy cast a google street presence, however digital map service is still maintained by Google.

Switzerland commission announced it would immediately sue Google over Google Street services to court. They rate the service has violated someone’s right to privacy. In a later claim, the agency wants Google to change the applications on Google’s Street.

In its claim that they want Google to make sure that all the faces and license plates are made escape. In addition they also demanded to delete images from private areas such as parks and main roads in Switzerland.

“A lot of faces and vehicle number plates must be blur to provide data protection, especially where the person concerned will be displayed at sensitive locations, such as outside the hospital, prison, or school,” said Commissioner Hanspeter Thuer, as quoted by Yahoo Tech , Sunday (november/13/2009).

“The height of the camera also captured a Google problem. For fences and walls closed and private nature will easily be seen the average person,” he added.

Seeing these demands Google will comply with all policies issued by the Government of Switzerland. “We believe that Google’s Street will always obey the law, including in Switzerland,” said Matthias Meyer, a spokesman for the company.

Meyer said it was the first time Google sued for the ministry, which he said is very popular in Switzerland, where tens of millions of images have been seen since August ago.
