30.3 Billion Video ‘was visited’ by U.S. Internet Users on April

Internet News – Last April, U.S. Internet users is estimated to have approximately 30.3 billion videos watched online.

The findings are found through research company ComScore, as quoted by Yahoo News, Wednesday (06/02/2010). According to data from comScore, U.S. Internet users now number 178 million, and sites like YouTube and a new video site named Vevo has attracted approximately 43.6 million Internet users.

Google’s YouTube and other online services dominate with approximately 13.1 billion witnessed a successful video. From these figures and compared to 177.8 million U.S. Internet users, this means that every single internet users watch video in 1996.

Hulu video sharing sites ranked second with 958 million videos watched by 38.7 million people. This means that each user watched Hulu videos 25.

Vevo, who was only six months had attracted the online video market in the U.S. with 1.1 percent market share. Throughout April, a total of 331.7 million in Vevo video has been witnessed. Vevo market share did increase quite rapidly. Because, in addition to creating his own site, Vevo also developed a special channel on YouTube.
