Windows 7 Increasing Acer Sales

Acer says the operating system Microsoft Windows 7 a positive impact on sales of Acer until the end of this year.

Acer have not released the exactly data how significant positive impact of Windows 7 affect sales of Acer. Acer spokesperson Gianfranco Lanci said that his party only to keep their profits continue to rise every three months. They continue to maintain sales growth to reach 15 per cent target next year.

Market share leader this cheap netbook estimates netbook sales and Acer laptops in October and December did not undergo much change from last quarter. But will increase to 25 percent from the previous year.

“When we saw the features of Windows 7, we immediately knew that this operating system would be very nice to meet market demand,” Lanci said, as quoted from the IT Pro, Thursday (11/26/2009).

Acer previously had been hanging his hopes for Windows 7. chairman Acer JT Wang said the latest operating system from this Microsoft will be a positive factor for selling computers.

“That’s because now many consumers have to upgrade the operating system Windows Vista and XP to Windows 7,” Wang said some time ago.

Not only Acer, a few other computers such as Lenovo, Dell, and HP also makes Windows 7 as the pedestal product sales.

Acer hopes, the product can have up to 50 percent growth in the global netbook market. This meant targeting Acer netbook and laptop sales to 42 million units next year. Last quarter, Acer recorded net profit USD108 million, up 14 percent from the same period.
