LG did not produce a PC anymore

LG electronics has stopped the production of personal computers (PC) itself. LG will switch to production navigation systems such as GPS for vehicles.

Even so LG will continue to market the PC manufacture and transfer the entire process of production to local companies and Taiwan.

LG factories used to produce PCs in Kunshan, a town in the province Jaingsu China, will soon switch to the production of the GPS. as TimesofIndia launched on Monday (11/30/2009).

Efforts second largest electronics companies in South Korea, backdroped the LG policy to cut operational costs.

LG is expected to focus on mobile phones and television markets. Previous LG ambitious boost cell phone market share to 10 percent. One way to realize these ambitions, with more focus on offering valuable phone sideways.

In 2009, LG targets to sell more than 100 million handsets. While in 2008, LG sold approximately 100.7 million mobile phones. LG itself claimed pocketed approximately 8.5 percent of mobile phone market.
