Huawei Successfully Sell 60 Million Units Modem

Huawei, one of the major manufacturers in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators following in the world, announced that it had sold more than 60 million units of mobile broadband products throughout the world.

The products are sold to more than 133 countries included data card, dongle, as well as embedded modules. As a solutions provider of end-to-end mobile broadband, Huawei has provided services to more than 315 international networks. Devices that have been customized to support and encourage the rapid growth of mobile broadband services, given the demand for these products have exceeded industry estimates more than three years.

According to a report in 2009 from consultancy ABI Research, over 55 percent of Huawei’s global market mobile broadband terminals, reinforcing its position as market leader these products.

In 2009, Huawei wireless modem displays the world’s thinnest, E5, at the Mobile World Congress 2009 and launched E182E, HSPA + mobile broadband first in the world.
