Hardware News – One computer vendor Acer is reportedly planning to debut a number of devices that will be embedded with Google-based operating systems that Chrome at Computex 2010, June.

The issue erupted mentioned, Chrome is the OS will go into some devices such as laptops that Acer made, although not closed the possibility of including netbooks, smartbooks and tablets, which reportedly will also be supported by various man-made ARM processor.

Unfortunately there has been no comment from the company based in Taiwan, so that some observers do not know for sure what Acer specific device will be launched with the OS that Google made.

“Recently, Samsung has developed smartbooks with ARM processor and Nvidia Tegra two OS running Chrome. However, it remains unclear how the netbook OS Chrome will ‘coexist’ with Google Android OS,” wrote Devindra Hardware and Matthäus Krzykowski from Ventura Beat, who quoted from the official website.

“Our prediction? Google’s Android may be set for the tablet. While Chrome the OS, is clearly more suitable for devices with keyboards and trackpads, which of course this leads to the netbook and smartbook,” he said.

Meanwhile, Brad Linder from Liliputing react skeptically to some reports.

“VentureBeat make a report as if the device is supported by the Chrome will be available soon. I do not think that’s what happened. Computex tends to be a place where companies can showcase new products that may not come into the market during the near term,” Linder believes.

“And as I have already mentioned, Google Chrome is still in early development stage and Google does not expect to release a final version until the end of this year. That’s why I really doubt that we will see the Acer actually released Google Chrome weeks based devices front, “he said.
